Baphomet was unveiled July 25th 2015 and currently resides at The Salem Art Gallery, TST's Headquarters in Salem, MA where it is on public display.
The Baphomet monument is 8’ 5” Tall, weighs 1.5 tons, and is cast in bronze.
Baphomet was created as a symbol of religious plurality in response to the unconstitutional effort of the Oklahoma government to place a Ten Commandments monument on State Courthouse public property.
Shortly after Baphomet was unveiled, the Oklahoma Supreme Court ruled that the Ten Commandments was a violation of Oklahoma constitutional law and it was removed.
Baphomet was displayed at the Arkansas State Capitol on August 16th, 2018 as part of TST's Rally for Religious Freedom. The rally was held to support TST's ongoing fight to place Baphomet at the Capitol to provide a contrast to the recently erected Ten Commandments monument.
